you can bet you @$$ it's going to look better than this. Something is off. It looks dark, cold and just plain unattractive.
I like Black and Red as colors too. I think they pair very well together but something amiss here. It just doesn't look good to me.
Thanks for sharing though. It's good to see what others are doing.

In my efforts to make sure it just wasn't Orange colored glasses, I watched the tour video of our Football Facility.
We did a much better job of making the facility look times with the use of wood, lighter shades of paint (ie. white) and didn't saturate every room with Orange and Purple....like UGA did (everything is Black, red or Silver.....everything!!).
