I'm sure he'll want to "outsmart" everybody and try to pick on that weak secondary. Problem is Mason is not Kenny Hill. Then Richt will beeyatch slap him at halftime and they will feed the beast that is Gurley. Dawgs by 17.

Definitely wont stop UGA. However, Uga will not run away with the game. It will stay close.

They couldn't stop a junior varsity high school girls team.
If the ECU QB was a little smarter with the ball, ECU is likely in a position to win that game. Other better opponents won't be as generous as ECU.

They showed up enough to win. I do not like USUC, but they are a good team. All the people predicting a UGA blowout flamed the heck out of me before the game. I simply pointed out historically speaking the game would be close. The game is always close. Always has been.

I like ugay to beat usuc, but spurlid will make adjustments we wouldn't/couldn't make. I sure hope ugay stomps usuc, but I don't think ugay is the world beater they think either. I hope I'm wrong and ugay wins by 50, though.

Yall are going to get disappointed. Look at the game history. There have been some awful sorry coot teams play some awful good Ga teams and the score was always close. Sports bettors look at these type things. History between programs is a huge factor in determining the spread. When predicting points spreads, you can not just look at teams a generic with x amount of talent y amount of talent. The history of the series is extremely important.

seen their defense against a running team yet. I still think UGAs QB is pretty bad - he isn't going to be throwing the ball all over SCAR's bad secondary like A&M and even ECU were doing.
Spurrier isn't going to have like 8 straight 3-and-outs either. He knows the limitations of his defense and he's gonna grind out some drives with Davis and the OL.
The game is also at home which makes a big difference.
I don't think the Coots are gonna win, but i would be hesitant about picking UGA to blow them out. Now if they had Murray back this year i might take UGA -21, but not with Hutson Mason back there.

The purpose of a line is to middle the bet wager .. Vegas could care less who wins nor what the line is .. The sole and only purpose is to make both sides bet it .. When one side is getting lit up they raise or lower the other side to make it start back the other way as far as wagers go .The loser of a bet pays a 10 % plus called the GIG .. If 5 million is wagered they want 2.5 one way and 2.5 the other so once bets are settled 250,000 is made .. Ya see small,time bookies pass there bets off to balance there books out once bets are placed .. The bigger the bookie the more he holds in house ..
