yet the Auburn folks I've met seemed ok when we went there. So Car and UGa stand on their own as cesspools with bad fan bases. I wouldnt attribute it to the SEC.

Yes I had several good experiences with the Auburn fans last year. I was riding the Marta on the way into the Ga dome and I offered an auburn lady my seat.
She said, "No thank you, I am fine... but that is why we love Clemson fans. These last 3 years, you guys have been pure class..."
Then she continued...
"...Which is way more than I can say about that other school from your state... they are terrible"

Most of the fans I know personally, along with several randoms I encountered after the CFA kickoff, were poor sports and terrible losers

I went to the game at Auburn and spent time talking to some at CU. They were all very nice. Maybe the CFA attracted a different crowd or something. I did not go to that

Have you ever noticed there are no Ga.Tech fans in the entire State. I live on the state line & there are more Ga. fans than coots. Almost none of them went to Ga. & when I ask why they don't pull for GT ,they have no answer. One told me because none of them could get into Tech

After being stuck as a student at Tech for five years, I can tell you that I cannot wait to get the #### outta this place and never come back. GT is an awful place...most of our alumni leave town for work (that is the half that actually speaks english). As much as I hate Sakerlina and the Pups, GT (as an alum) will be my number 1 school to beat year in year out...

Most "Dawg" fans could not gain admittance to UGA, either. Most Tiger fans are likewise ineligible to attend Clemson, and most Gator fans never have sniffed the inside of a book in Gainesville.
I like it that way.
On the other hand, at least half of USuC fans could probably get into #### School. You just have to complete a coloring book.

I work with Bama, AU, and LSU fans daily - none of whom are rude.
I'm guessing it's a Jawja thang.

It's definitely a GA thing b/c the Tech fans I've been around are exactly like pup fans with even less of an argument than their Athens foes to stand on haha

Actually, I lived there too and had the same experience. Everybody and there brother is a Uga fan and most of them didn't even go to college - much less UGA. Which I believe is the result of their low College Football IQ as a fan base. You are only as smart as your opposition, and since they really have no other fan base to challenge them - they just walk around yelling 'Go Dawgs!' Actually had a guy ask me how Matt Stafford did after a loss to Arkansas, TWO FRICKIN YEARS after he was drafted!
