Ok - we have our 8 team playoff

I submit to you that this year's national champion will come from the following bracket of eight teams.

They each have earned their spot in the bracket. So... the eight team field is set. It's win and advance from here. None of the teams can lose another game and claim legitimacy to be in the official 4 team bracket. The playoff starts this Saturday.

In no particular order:
Alabama
Clemson
Georgia
Oklahoma
Miami
Wisconsin
Auburn
Ohio State

ND is out because they were boat raced by a rival in November. Ok State is out because they lost at home to their rival in November.

What say you?

The schedule is entirely too weak.

Not entirely sure they're even deserving of one of the New Years Six bowl appearances.

TCU needs to be added to the list ahead of Ohio State.

If Miami wins their next two games they could get in even with a loss to Clemson in the Championship game.

If Alabama loses to Auburn and UGA beats Auburn for the SEC title then Bama will probably get back in.

It is possible that Wisconsin could be left out even without losing a game.

The other six are out with a loss unless something wild happens such as all six losing a game. If all six lose a game then Clemson would probably be back in and the Big 12 champ.
