Uber experiences on gameday?

I have a guest riding in with me tomorrow night who may not want to stay for the whole game. He's considering taking an Uber back home to Easley about midway through the game. Anyone have any experiences with Uber on gameday? My presumption is that uber drivers are around before/after game but challenging due to traffic, but what about after the game has started?

If it's at halftime, or say mid-third quarter, he's probably good to go. They'll be drivers around and about, and most would love to sneak in a quick ride before the end of the game, so long as it gives them time to get back for the expensive "surge pricing" right after the game.

Surge pricing can get crazy - in CLT two years ago we couldn't get one for less than $120 right after the game. We had to drink for a long time.
