U of SC now claiming Olympic Gold Medal

For years the coots have claimed football national championships through AL. Now they are claiming an Olympic Gold. Where does the coat tail riding end?

I know what you're saying but I really like A'ja. She's a good person. Hope she continues to do well. And, we would be stoked if she'd played for Clemson. We claimed gold from a lady that represents a different country... So at least A'ja reped for team USA.

There's a difference in saying a Tiger won a medal and using it as a university accomplishment like Gamecocks will undoubtedly do. Also it sounds good to say how other people would act when talking whataboutisms but for this Tiger fan no matter how good the Lady Tigers basketball program is or who played for them it would always be just in passing. Sorry but for this Tigers fan ladies basketball just doesn't move the needle. Call me sexist or whatever, I don't care, I like sports at it's highest form and that is why male sports are just astronomically watched at a higher level than female sports will EVER be. And if it weren't for the NBA subsidizing the WNBA the WNBA wouldn't even be a thing because the WNBA is an equality sport. Meaning if it weren't for laws require female sports to be a thing they wouldn't be because they all hemorrhage with the exception maybe being Olympic female soccer which i don't know to be a fact I'm just guessing.

There are no laws requiring the NBA to subsidize

the WNBA... there are agreements in place, but no laws.

Also, Shawn Crawford winning Silver and Gold at the Olympics is the exact same thing as this current coach and former player winning gold, they are ambassadors for their university just the same as Crawford, Matt LeCroy, Kris Benson and Billy Koch are recognized as Clemson Olympic medalists and ambassadors for Clemson.

I'm sorry that you don't see the value in other human beings and their accomplishments...
