Something strikes me about this kid. He is stepping into a great situation, but I am really impressed with how detailed he is, there is not a lot of wasted movement. He seems like he can be a dependable every down back for us. I hope he stays healthy this summer, I believe he is a huge upgrade over Howard.

I like Mcdowell too, but I am not sure how heavily we can lean on him down the stretch.

Have a good feeling about Gallman as well. I think these two will begin showing up later this year. One of the two will RS.

I am not sold on Gallman as a back, I put him in the same boat as howard. agree with the below poster, we have a couple of good ones in the 2014 class.

But I think Dye is stepping into a great situation this year.

Brooks could be interesting too

Maybe some sort of Wildcat HB Sweeps, Toss off Tackle, Options, and Jet Sweeps with him.

Have Hod Rod as the main guy, Brooks for some speed / sweep / off tackle plays, Dye for some power plays in-between the tackles. Redshirt Gallman.

Based on film......I have been more impressed with this guy than any of this years or next years recruits. He does not run away from contact,he breaks tackles, he runs hard, and he does not get caught from behind.

My favorite is that 'jump step' he does when changing direction - not as great as "Sweetness" - but pretty awesome IMO.

I guess his foot/ankle injury is healed and he's ready for some Fall Ball.

the season starts. If its unsettled going into week 3-4 it might be too late. We NEED to have a DECIDED smash mouth running game to start the season not questions going in.
