At least we have Trevor....

Mar 19, 2021, 4:41 PM

...that we can watch throw touchdowns in the NFL next year.

No saying DW4 is guilty of anything but I have a feeling this investigation will last well into next year and he will not be seeing the field anytime soon, if at all. It is unfortunate but we all know how the NFL is going to react. It seems the Houston Texans are not ready to defend him or vilify him and are standing in the shadows until they know more. I seriously doubt the NFL's version of investigations will conclude before years end. No one has really come to his defense and that is probably because no one wants to put themselves out there not knowing if this is true or not. The truth will not be known for a long time unfortunately.

There is no way he takes the field this year unless these accusations magically disappear before September. If that was to occur it means he settled. No way 10, 12 or even 22 females drop this. 1 or 2, maybe, 22 no way.

Why would a civil suit keep him off the field?

Mar 19, 2021, 6:36 PM

If there are no criminal charges files, then the whole thing will go away.

It’s Michael Avanatti redux.

His reputation is destroyed in the court of public opinion.

But the NFL needs his talent and he will play.

He will also turn the tables with the law suit thing once things clear up.

The NFL could suspend him until their investigation is over. If they wanted to, the could drag it out as long as they want. If the conspiracy theorists are right and the Texans organization is behind this, then they’ll do it to “teach him a lesson”.

Who has the NFL ever suspended while an investigation is ongoing?

Cops don’t use their better judgement like they used to. Just pump those arrest numbers up

"typical Cop mindset, guilty until proven innocent"

Please explain... I never said he was guilty. I simply said the investigation will take a long time and I believe the NFL will not let him play. Never said I believed he was guilty of anything.
