I agree that they COULD be one of the top 5 teams in the SEC, but rigth now, they aren't. I don't hear many SEC fans saying that Vandy could win the NFC east, but I hear a lot of them saying that they would win the Big 10 Leaders division, or ACC Atlantic or Coastal divisions. This year, they might be right about the B1G or the Coastal division since they both appear to be waaay down.
BTW, I think the gameocks have a very good team this year, but we don't yet know quite how good. The same can be said about Alabama, so don't take that as a derogatory statement. The deal is that we don't know how good UGa is just yet. FWIW, Bama has looked better running over baby seals so far, but in the UGa game usc-e looked by far better than they have YTD.
