If it is all about TV dollars then the Big 12 needs us more than we need them. Texas has a large population but the rest of the states in the Big 12 don't have as large a population as South Carolina. If you don't believe me get out a Road Atlas with all the states and you will see that all the populated states are east of the Mississippi with the exception of Texas and California. West of the Mississippi is all miles with very few people. In terms of market dollars the Big 12 really needs Florida and South Carolina in the mix. I think the advantage is more for them than it is for us. Maybe I am wrong and the ACC is being left out. If that be the case then let's run not walk to the Big 12. So far though I have not seen anything but opinion and I hope we don't make a move based on opinion.
