Hard for best OL to protect when other team doesn't have to worry about the run

oh yeah? at the half we had run 53 plays for 250 yds

Aug 30, 2014, 9:13 PM

the problem, as it was in the first quarter, was Stoudt staring at receivers and being fearful of pushing the ball downfield. Watson should've come in at the beginning of the third quarter after Stoudt's first two three and outs.

Watson, Gallman and Artavis Scott show lots of promise***

Agreed.....IDK how other Tnet posters don't see it...our O line gave no time for either QB to throw or create any holes for the run game to get going causing consecutive 3 n outs. Our D was too gassed to keep up with 3-4 power backs that were rotating giving them fresh legs. Our depth and lack of talent on the O line showed our biggest weakness. also some crucial dropped passes and that fg attempt if you even call it that...i though Lakip wanted to give a souvenir ball to a fan in the stands

OL is rough...

Aug 30, 2014, 9:37 PM

But you gotta realize the ACC blows and we r more talented than every team but FSU so odds r we'll be fine and struggle against FSU, USC and maybe one other team but should go 7-1 in league play.
