Tanks are kind of .....well....heavy. Like VERY heavy. If they're going to run in some parade on their own power (I assume), who's going to repave all the cracked roadways? In theory SOME interstates were designed (as the original intent) to be thick enough for the heaviest tanks in the US military. But I imagine the roads in DC, and especially anywhere tanks run on their own, will have at least some damage. Or are they just leaving the heaviest tanks out of the parade?
Heck, look at the asphalt on the left in this picture. Run that tank over it and it will be even more damaged.
