Aug 28, 2015, 2:50 PM

If it comes through South Carolina, that will be ...

Aug 28, 2015, 2:55 PM

... on Wednesday and/or Thursday according to most predictions.

So, a couple of days to dry out.

I'm in Southern California, wish it would come here. We are dry, dry, dry. And it has been abnormally hot which is just compounding the problem.

The latest forecast is saying scattered T-storms on

Aug 29, 2015, 3:13 AM [ in reply to If it comes through South Carolina, that will be ... ]

Friday and Saturday. As long as lightning isn't within a certain distance though, it hopefully won't jeopardize the game.

This is good news although just remnants of a tropical system can still produce a lot of moisture

Right now, models show us getting some scattered storms next Saturday but nothing from Erika. But that can change.

Watched wyff(Greenville,SC) last night...

Aug 29, 2015, 12:41 PM

They something about a dome of high pressure to come and pretty much keep the remnants of the tropical system away.....

But of course with these systems anything could happen.....

Exactly as I said above, it's no longer even a tropical storm.

It'd be out of our area by Saturday even IF conditions had been favorable for development. ;)
