As opposed to Bryant, Cooper, Brice, and Johnson
But top prospects think they're unbeatable and don't care what talent is already on a roster at their position. If they were scared of competition they wouldn't be where they are now.

I remember Trevor saying that growing up as a Tennessee fan would not have any influence on his decision. The most important aspect of a school that will influence his decision the most is their success.

Sounds like a Clemson lock if that's the case.

Joyner only gets a QB offer from Clemson

if he improves when showing at camp next summer AND Lawrence goes elsewhere.
The most likely thing to happen, Lawrence goes to UGA, Joyner improves this season and shows it at camp next summer. Gets his offer he wants from Clemson as a QB and comes to Clemson.
Then again, Lawrence commits soon to Clemson and the 17 & 18 classes start filling up with 4&5 stars and Clemson never looks back.Imagine recruiting with HJ and TL both committed to Clemson.

If we can land the #1 QB 2 years in a row that'd be huge. Hard to imagine both of those guys being here at the same time though. But both schools have some top tier talent at QB from the '16 and '17 recruiting classes and neither will be easy to walk in and start immediately.
Hopefully, he's confident in his skills and wants to compete with the best to be the best he can be. I'd love to see him in Clemson Orange.

I agree with 08. It would be very hard to get the no.1 QB

prospect in back-to-back years. Getting the no. 1 guy every 2-3 years is more likely simply because no one would want to wait 3 years to play.

I think he ends up at Georgia, but this is a good spot to be with him. He's in a tough situation, since either place he goes he will have a pile of 4-,5-star talent infront of him, with Eason and Fromm, and Cooper, Johnson, Bryant, and Brice here at Clemson.

I think the staff feels very good about their chances with Lawrence I think they would have already offered joyner as a qb if not. they have enough qbs on campus or committed to take joyner and if he dosent pan out at quarterback give him the option to move.
