Travis played at 199 lbs last year?

Mar 12, 2021, 9:09 AM

I remember them saying he was playing 5 or 6 lbs lighter but not 15. Was there any impact on the running game or was it just a lack of getting to go home, or have her come to Clemson, and eat Momma’s cooking as much as he wanted due to COVID? Good riddance 2020!

It was stated at the beginning of the season that ETN cut weight intentionally because he felt a played a little heavy during the '19 season and that it slowed him down a little late in the season.

He wanted to prioritize playing faster. I'd say it was a good decision because of his increased load in the passing game.

ETN could have gained weight up to 230 and it wasn't going to improve our running game this past season. The lower weight had nothing to do with it the downturn in production on the ground.
