Traveling to Syracuse

Hey guys, I'm planning on going to the Syracuse game next weekend, since I live in upstate NY and this will probably be my only chance to see the tigers play this year! I was wondering if I could get a couple pieces of advice from you guys:
-Do you know anywhere I will be able to tailgate? An alumni tailgate or the like, or even do you know if Syracuse fans are generally open to taking random people into their tailgates?
-Should we wear orange? I just don't know what the protocol is since Syracuse also wears orange.
-Any advice on anything in the area we have to see?

We got a parking pass right next to the stadium so I really don't care whether they tailgate or not, we definitely are.

the stadium. They had easy shuttle over and back. Search the web for game day info by one of their alums. He usually posts here game week. Enjoy!

Ok, I will look for this. I won't be able to get the paw-stamped $2 bills, unfortunately, but I will definitely go to the local bank and get some!!!

I agree; we have one here in Troy and (unless the Syracuse one is much better) it's nothing to write home about. Missing some smokin pig!

I live in Lakewood NY and will be picking up friends in Buffalo for the game. I have all the same questions. Nobody around here goes to Syracuse games. They get enough losing WNY football watching the Bills. I will have my tailgate gear and will definitely be wearing the PAW! Gray Ford F150 4 door with cap. Stop for a cold one if you see me.

Parked at SkyTop and took the shuttle---
Tailgates at SkyTop
Ate at Dinosaur BBQ after game, all Tigers and quite a wait
The Syracuse fans were very nice and helpful
