Clemson misses cut for Coaches Top 25

Clemson garnered the second-most votes of those just outside the top-25 (56), behind Arkansas (67). Clemson has been out of the Coaches rankings since week 9. The bottom-5 of Sunday's poll:

Total crap. 8-3 with all three losses to ranked team, including giving #1 their closest game. Had we been going 6-6 that last five years, we'd be ranked 18th.

I could possibly understand not being ranked last week since we didn’t have any great wins, but we just beat a top 10 team. Plus, we don’t have any horrible losses.
You can’t tell me that our 8-3 doesn’t stack up favorably against the other teams in the 15-25 range.

Kentucky lost to UGA by 17
Clemson lost to UGA by 7
Kentucky lost to 6-5 unranked Tennessee
Kentucky lost to 7-4 unranked MSST
Clemson has no losses to unranked teams.
Conclusion - Kentucky is better than Clemson.
As the season progresses it gets harder and harder to hide the bs that these polls are. By this late in the season, the polls have devolved to the credibility level of a North Korean Election, where Kim receives 113% of the votes.

We looked better than most teams yesterday and have an overall record to more than support a top 25 ranking. Normally I don’t spend a lot of energy on these rankings. This feels like a bunch of A-hole coaches voting for teams they’ve never seen play (ULL, SD St) with the sole purpose of keeping Clemson down for recruiting. Good luck with that, clowns. Silver lining: motivation to keep winning. Go Tigers!

We are punished for being a small school with a small media market.
A cute Cinderella story in 2015 and 2016 against everyone’s favorite team, the mighty Alabama.
But we didn’t go away after that and those in sports media are kinda pissed about it.
As ESPN says, America wants to see different teams play Alabama for the National Championship.
