in backyard football, especially my own back yard. An only as long as it was limited to the kids in my own neighborhood, that is. So what if they were all younger than me - I was a Hoss. Of course, it wasn't fair when Big Danny or the kids from the mill hill came over, so I don't count that.

treatment and surgical procedures that today's players have. They could have scoped and/or fixed his knees and had him back to full speed in no time. Had that been the case, he may have been the greatest of all; he was certainly a pleasure to watch.
