just a rebuttal from one of the national mags.Athlon The defending national champions may not have signed a large class, but there's still plenty of new talent joining the Tigers.
But from a roster management perspective, the Tigers’ coaching staff nailed it. Clemson will certainly not get the same immediate production from the incoming freshmen that they got from the guys that graduated or left early. Also, and very important to the coot mentality, there was not a whole lot of talent in S.C. this year but Clemson got who they wanted for the most part. We missed on some but none of them went to the coots.

Not many years ago, a thread on fgf complained that crushed ice being served in soft drinks in at least one Williams-Brice concession stand was nasty and tasted like "doo-doo". Several chickenfans chimed in agreeing.....
Needless to say, Tigernet erupted in derisive laughter and comments....??

A coot co-worker kept bringing up the time they beat Bama when they were #1 too, they just never mention they also lost 3 games that year. It wasn't like they were a true #1 and the only loss was to them like they were to us. They always come up with something to try to make themselves feel better about reality.

Not trying to make excuses for Bama in that loss, but Bama has just played Arky and Florida the 2 previous weeks and USUC had a BYE week to prepare for Bama at Willy Brice. It can make a difference as it was like the perfect storm to knock off Bama at home.

One post that will always stick with me was a few years ago after we beat OK the first time 40-6, the game was already in hand and we had the backups in. They had a thread going that said, Clemson seeing how bad that D-line will be next year now....all because OK had their starters in getting a few chunks of yards on us. I just thought it was funny they thought our D would fall off every year and D.W. was suppose to be injury prone and never finish a season.

If we would market our trophies by putting each one in it's on case and our social media was good too we would recruit like them.
The difference is when we were top like them they weren't as bad.
Just two years ago we were a top 5 team.
They would have lost 5 games with an sec schedule.
We have won two National Championships in baseball recently..... as if that equals football
Dabo can't coach but would be a good CEO...??
We need a helicopter to compete with the taters....
Dabo uses New Springs to funnel money from bagman...
