In recent memory, I remembered being caught off guard by the following three stories:
1) Deon Cain being suspended for the playoffs
2) Osterine suspensions
3) Josh Belk transfer
The COVID situation last year was something that I anticipated every week so it didn’t surprise me. Those were situations where I refreshed the page just to make sure.

TU for posting in Football and having 3 examples of shocking football posts. So keeping with the spirit, I was shocked that I was one of the very few Dabo supporters when he was first given the HC job.

I think you nailed the big ones....another one that still has me feeling a sort of "Gut punch" or shocker was the Korey Foreman de-commitment.

Tyshon Dye and CJ Fuller passing away. The Chad Kelly dismissal from the team. When Chad Morris left for SMU. Although it was known that Morris wanted a HC job, I was somewhat surprised that he did not hold off longer for a higher profile job.
