2. Frank Leahy - Boston College & Notre Dame 86.4% (1939-1953)
3. Urban Meyer - Utah, Florida & Ohio State 85.3% (2001-2018)
4. Barry Switzer - Oklahoma 83.7% (1973-1988)
5. Tom Osborne - Nebraska 83.6% (1973-1997)
6. Bob Neyland - Tennessee 82.9% (1926 -1952)
7. Bud Wilkinson - Oklahoma 82.6% (1947-1963)
8. DABO SWINNEY - Clemson 81.5% (2008 - Present)
9. Nick Saban - Mich st, LSU & Bama 80.1% (1990 -Present)
10. Bob Stoops - Oklahoma - 79.8% (1999-2016)

Think there are a few extra on the list from Stoops' mark and better:

*George Woodruff (Illinois + non Power 5 like Urban): 142-25-2 = 0.846
*Fielding Yost (Nebraska,Kansas,Stanford,Michigan): 198-35-12 = 0.833
*Jock Sutherland (Pittsburg): 145-29-4 = 0.812
*Bob Devaney (Nebraska): 136-30-7 = 0.806

IMHO, Frank Leahy was the best of the full list. 4 Natty's in 13 years with no split National Championships. Saban (7 NC's in 26 college seasons) & Bear Bryant both have split national championships, for example. All Leahy's were AP & Coaches polls and not just the screwy selectors from the early days; Quit to join the Navy in WWII, and then came back. He won NC's on both sides of his Military service and was 12-2-1 vs. AP Top 5 and 22-3-1 vs. AP Top 10--significantly better against the very best teams than either Saban or Bryant. And, Clemson was undefeated against him...

Tom Osborne #5, yet the only time I have ever watched a Nebraska game, they lost (22-15 to be exact). :)
