Too many on here saying "there is nothing left to play for"

If shared by the team it's the perfect attitude to lose 2-3 more games. It's college football people......there a few games anymore where a team can just show up and win.

Anybody expect VT to lose the next two weeks after beating OSU in the Bus? Anyone think LSU would get blown out for 57 minutes at home and at night? I'm sure the Mizzou fans expected a win yesterday since Indiana hadn't beaten a ranked team in 7 years.

Take that "nothing to play for" attitude into Atlanta or Chestnut Hill and that will be two L's against inferior talent. Some of y'all have the worst attitude......wait 8 months for the season and call it quits 3 weeks in.

I think it would be more correct to say "there's little left of any real meaning to play for" yes, I feel that way but it has more to do with the scheduling of Georgia and FSU in the first 3 games. If we win, it sets us up nicely for the season. But lose as we have done and there isn't much to get excited about. We've come to expect more in the last few years and we rarely get those expectations met. So, we wait for next year, again.

Play to impress for the next level
Play to shut up their HS teammates who went to SCAR
Play to keep the momentum going in order to keep the recruiting pipeline going
Play to go to a decent bowl game
Play for their pride

Fans may not have much to 'play' for but I'm sure the players still have a lot of motivation.

There is a lot left to play for. A 10 win season is a goal. Beating Scar is a requirement. However,any hopes of winning the ACC title is over. With Winston back,FSU won't lose in the ACC. In that sense the season is over.
