minute and a half regulation and Cincinnati up by three whether or not they should let KC score a TD? Or if you're KC do you take a knee at the 1 if you're about to score rather than getting the TD? WTH???

I like Romo but didn’t agree with his point. I was thinking they may have been better off letting them get the TD but was not convinced Cincinnati could score a TD and they would have been down 4.

I have heard that dozens of times in my life and I have seen teams do that many times. That scenario was a little weird though. I have also seen where the defense is trying to let them go in and the offensive player takes a knee at the 1 to not go in to use more clock up. In that scenario the defense often tries to throw offensive player in. There is a reason Romo said it, because it's not that unheard of.

I think the sack took that out of the equation.

Without question and it wasn't mentioned again once that happened.

It made sense. There were a few options. That happens here and there. If they don't think they can stop them, them just them in and have a chance to get the ball back. KC offense isn't that easy to stop generally. It all worked out though. The fact that Bengals made that stop was slightly surprising.

Never should have been in OT if KC kicks the field goal before half.

He also talked about leaving a down left on case a fumble on the kick, you’d get another chance. He was the guy he was talking about. He bagged on himself for muffing the snap as place holder to kick Cowboys out of the playoff when he took over QB job but still had holder duties. Slipped right out Md son done.

Nothing exactly wrong with kicking on 3rd down if you are worried about a bad snap etc, so you're just being cautious. But you better leave enough seconds for that 4th down. In that scenario you have to kick off if they make that fg on 3rd down. Probably a squib kick. Because there will probably still is going to be 10 seconds on the clock. In my opinion you just kick it on 4th and don't put any negative thoughts with your snapper or holder.
