Hey Tigers, CONGRATS on making the Playoffs
Dec 4, 2017, 2:26 PM

Actually, congrats on winning the ACC and making it to the playoffs. Our game this year will be another good one to watch. I admit that Bama is not at the same level as in the last few years but it should still be fun. I'm definitely proud of my Tide and hoping for a solid performance.
Side note: 3 of the 4 head coaches in this year's CFP have Alabama National Championship rings, Dabo, Smart, and of course, Saban.

Welcome to TigerNet and as it has been the past two times I think this will be another great game! Good luck to the tide and hope to see a great competition this new year.

The winner will most likely win the Natty. I do think we are better overall from last year and yall seem to have taken a tiny step back. It will come down to who can run the ball IMO. Both have a great front 7 seeing that most of Bama's LBs will be back. Should be a great game but if we play Clemson football I see us winning by 10+ just from the LSU, Miss St, and Auburn game that I watched Bama play. Having a month to prepare for both teams will make it very interesting though.

I think we will be a totally different team from the team that played LSU, Miss St and Auburn simply due to the fact that we should be healthy with the exception of Hootie Jones and Sean Dion Hamilton. There was another couple of LB's that were lost for the season against FSU but they didn't really contribute enough to truly say they will cost us any win... I think it should be a fantastic game...

Clemson v Bama III should be another great game.
I agree your defense will be healthier, and one could make the statement that these may be the two most talented defenses in the country going at it.
The one thing I don't get though, and maybe it's because I don't watch Alabama every week, is how much confidence your fanbase seems to have in Jalen Hurts. In most games I've watch him play, which admittedly are the ones against better defenses, he looks like a liability. His game seems to be so dependent on Alabama being able to run the ball and then throw to wide open receivers. In the games where teams could hold up to the ground game he really struggled this year (Auburn, LSU, FSU, and even Mississippi St)completing only 45-55% of his passes.
Also say what you will about Kiffen, but the passing numbers other than Interceptions have all significantly declined this year. So while I think you may be right on the defensive side of the ball I think you'd have to expect Hurts to have similarly poor production against a defense that is every bit the equal to Auburn and certainly superior to FSU, LSU and Miss St.
I think we have some of the same issues at times as Bryant has struggled to make plays downfield in order to loosen the defense, but I'm curious what you think about your offensive side of the ball.
I personally don't see how you score more than 17 and if that's the case you have to be almost perfect defensively to win.

I could be wrong but...I'm pretty sure he will be using his Offense and Defense in this one...just like the last two games...

Maybe you can get the CFP committee to go ahead and vote Bama the Natty champ and save everyone from playing an actual game. Isn't that how it works?

Sit back.Drink up.It's going to be a long night for Bama!

Clemson got this.Bama is not going to be able to do diddly.I like BV having that full month to prepare for his opponent.Sure you can say the same thing, but truth is Clemson's Defense is even better than last year. Our LB core and Corners,(Who will also be healthy), are improved in speed and coverage. They will take out any ducks Hurts puts up.
And our offense?Yeah everyone talks about shutting down the run to make KB throw.Well I say watch out.We aren't one dimensional like the talking heads like to think. And that is where your defense is going to get gased and shutdown. No doubt.
Let ESPiN stroke your ego, for things Saban did in yesteryears.Cuz Clemson is starting 2018 off the same way it started off 2017.By beating bama.
GO TIGERS!!!!BEAT BAMA!!!!LEAVE NO DOUBT!!!!!!!!!

If our offense is not able to generate drives, this may come down to a kicking contest. Scary thought, as Bama has an unreal punter and our best kicker can't kick with a torn ACL.

Our place-kicking isn't all that good. Punting is unreal but a 40+ yard field-goal may or may not hit...
