at this point it would serve no purpose for NC State to beat UNC. IN fact, it better serves us for UNC to come in Top 10 because we are plating them 11-1 or 10-2

Ummmmm.........Clemson is not "the other" state university. It's THE STATE UNIVERSITY of SC. All others are "the other". They can fight it out, but Citadel has dibs right now.

The other state university? I have met many people that went to South Carolina because they couldn't get into Clemson, I have never met a person that had the opposite situation. Of the 2 Clemson is definitely not 2nd choice.

Agree. If one wants to make a comparison to universities in North Carolina, I would say Clemson is the Duke of South Carolina. Certainly not little brother in any capacity. We are smaller and more elite than the state school. Plus, we get little public money these days.

Yes, NC State is bashed by UNC (perception and some reality), but that analogy does not apply in South Carolina.
