1. There's nowhere a golf cart can go that my vehicles won't go faster and safer.
2. Intended targets can see my firearms from a distance in an open golf cart and it completely negates the surprise factor of doing a drive-by shooting.

They're fun but not necessary, really. Definitely fun in a neighborhood that has a bunch of them. They add convenience when making a quick trip to a friend's house (I live in an area with four neighborhoods connected so it's easy), reduces vehicle parking space for parties and at the pool, fun on nice-weather cruises with family and friends, ease for taking kids to school if the school is close by, scooting up to a restaurant or bar without having to get on a busy road, etc.
But all in all, rarely a necessity.
The ire for them is pretty much irrational. I've yet to hear anyone produce a good argument why they don't want others to drive them. Oh, they're dangerous?! Yeah, so are all vehicles, so go take a seat.

I don't know how you Tennessee ####### are doing it, but round here between Normandie and Western, it's drunk 30-40-50 somethings cruising to the pool, cornhole games, or the docks. I'll maybe once in a while see a kid driving one, and they usually drive them slower than Dad does.
But, so, what, we're blaming the carts now for parents letting their kids drive them illegally? We gonna blame the guns to if they let junior pop off rounds in the street?
