It provides no protection from catching the virus. The same propaganda sources that said it would now tell you it provides protection from the symptoms. Considering the rate at which yesterday's "conspiracy theories" are becoming acknowledged fact, anyone paying attention would be skeptical. But hey, propaganda works, that's why they keep using it.

But unfortunately, enough people didn’t get the vaccine early on, and subsequent mutations rendered the vaccine less effective at preventing disease.
Still, one’s chances of getting and spreading COVID are still lower if they have been vaccinated. And their chances of getting severe COVID are way less.
