He only got home when he lined up inside. We might have the best two Tackles in college football in McFadden and Parks. We just weren't very good inside last year.

Walker averaged less than 2 tackles per game on your great Defense. He was not a team leader and did not start in 2020 to my knowledge. Now he is an athletic freak. But where was the production. He tied for 10th on the team in tackles.

Was Walker the best player on UGA this year? Best in the SEC? Best in the nation? Thanks for your usual unbiased analysis ...

In their system his job wasn’t to get sacks it was to take on double teams and pull guys and clear the way for their LBs to get to the QB.

He had the exact same (and better) measurables and testing as Myles Garrett who has been a stud, Jax will use him like that and run that style of D.

that a guy who wasn’t close to being the best player on his own defense ends up the top pick in the draft.

He may end up being a hall of famer. But this pick has classic Jaguars’ draft bust written all over him.

I personally think they should’ve traded the pick. They need talent badly and would’ve done better getting several picks this year for that #1 pick.

If measurables really told the story, there would be no need

to even play any games. Just compare your team's measurables to all other teams' measuarbles, and declare a champion. The fact is, measurables only tell so much, and quite often don't translate into production, output, or competitive advantage.

They tried to trade down and no one would bite. An OL or Hutchinson would have been a better pick. Hope it works out.

that could explain his rise in the Draft. Trubisky's Agent certainly hoodooed the NFL scouts into believing he was a better option than DeShaun Watson AND Patrick Mahomes. WRONG!
