To all the butthurt basketball fans,

Stop acting like the coots.

We will have a new home court next year and Brownell will have to produce. It is silly to consider firing him this year.

Happy Thursday, and beat the coots this weekend!

Only benefit to keeping Brownell

Mar 3, 2016, 9:05 AM

Is that we have all the transfers sitting out who have been learning his 'system' & perhaps the infusion of talent might save him. A change in coaching would put all the players back several steps while they would learn "on job training" from a new coach.

REQUIRED NOTE: Brownell needs to figure out that the Tigers need more post players IMMEDIATELY...he is looking at nothing at PG's so far. At some point, we need a shooter and some muscle down low besides Elijah Thomas...and don't tell me "Stone hands Djitte" is the answer at starting center next year!

What we need to do is go after some really big, athletic

guys who have never played much basketball (or preferably any at all), with zero basketball skills, bring them in and hope and pray that they can develop into something solid by year 3 or 4. If we can stock up on these guys, and have 3 or 4 on the team at once, that would be great. That way we can maintain a firm grasp on mediocrity for the foreseeable future.

Would it really be silly to fire a coach after 6 years with

Mar 3, 2016, 9:15 AM

a winning percentage of .555 (.480 in conference) and 6 consecutive seasons of not making the NCAA tourney?

I personally think acting like a coot would mean accepting these types of results.
