I hope he got that when you are a career criminal that you have chosen to put yourself and others in harms way.

I hope he got that when a police officer tells you to do something that you do it instead of thinking you’re “badder” and do what the h€ll you want to do.

I've been saying this for years. In fact, I always offer the police offer a tuggie just in case they're having a bad day.

We all know that no innocent black person has ever been killed by police.

have been killed by cops as well..but many of these cases the antifa and blm terrorist groups are destroying stuff over werent exactly obeying the officers orders...rule of thumb if you fight a cop who has his weapon drawn you are going to get shot

Or, you could just asleep in your house, not having done anything wrong, and STILL get shot. Wait, that's never happened, has it?

You still believe that Breona Taylor narrative that’s been debunked more than Michale Browns “hands up, don’t shoot”? It’s tragic she died, but if her boyfriend doesn’t shoot at the cops, she’s alive today.

I get people feel a certain way, but the facts and statistics, don’t back that up. I’m sure I’ll be met with the term “systemic racism”, which is never backed up with an actual law or policy that needs to be abolished, therefore making it systemic. Fact of the matter is, the term systemic racism was created by Stokley Carmichael, former head of the black panthers, as a way to shift the definition of racism as we know if (which everyone can agree is wrong) to any type of system that creates any inequality. Well, with that definition, every system is racist because every system creates inequality.

TX,

Can you guide me to reputable sources that have debunked the Breona Taylor narrative ?

As far as systemic racism is concerned, it does not require laws (dejure racial prejudice) to exist.

Here's the definition: Institutional racism (also known as systemic racism) is a form of racism that is embedded as normal practice within society or an organization. It can lead to such issues as discrimination in criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power, and education, among other issues.

So as an example, discrimination in hiring is a significant form of systemic racism. Here are a number of studies that provide evidence that this type of systemic racism still very much exists.

Reasonable people who don't support the goals of antifa and the BLM movement support changes that will significantly reduce unjust police brutality and reduce accidental deaths of innocent people. Snarky comments like yours just cause people to dig in their heels and remain divided instead of working together to implement workable solutions.

Cops kill more whites than blacks too. Simple solution to it all is don’t break the law and you don’t put yourself at risk.

link

We can find an outlier in anything but most issues blacks have are self-inflicted

Jacob Blake is a thug. Multiple domestic abuse charges, sexual assault and others and now idiots are praising him. Cops were called to the scene by ONE of the mothers of his 6-7 children because she felt threatened. Now, he’s been turned into a saint.

Again, if he would have simply obeyed multiple commands officers gave him, he would have had his day in court and not been shot. He can protest himself because he was the issue.

Truthorlou you are one of the sickest on this blog. Your ignorance is beyond belief and way to large to call out. Take your police shoot more whites than blacks. This shows how shallow and brainless you are and simple you are in trying to distort numbers. On a societal basis whites are shot at 13 per million white population while blacks are 33 per minority. Having you and Clemson together in same discussion is pitiful.Take your hate somewhere else. And why is this garbage on football blog.

I didn’t say a d@mn thing racist. Just fact that police were called to a scene by a black mother

When they arrived, he disobeyed every d@mm thing they asked him to do. When he reached inside the door for what they had no idea it was, what were they supposed to do?

Think his point is moreso

That any PERSON behaving in a certain manner during a law enforcement encounter may be putting themselves in a precarious situation.

The argument isn't that we don't believe any black Americans have suffered injustice/justice at the hands of the police. We know that some have, and that's an awful reality.

The argument is that so has literally every other ethnicity known to man. Whites are shot and killed at a much higher frequency in this country than any other rate, which makes sense given demographics. Of course blacks are killed, some perhaps unjustly, but it isn't at a statistically significantly higher rate than the possibility of suffering from a medical error (around 44,000 annual deaths from poor medical care decisions).

Point is, regardless of your race, if you are walking down the street at an obviously sketchy time of the night, or spitting at police, or yielding a weapon while running from them as a mad man, don't start screaming for reform when you get gunned down.

This whole thing has been so obviously over-politced. It's 2020 people, an election year. WAKE. UP.

Not sure. But I do know for sure lots and lots of evil and bad men have been put away or killed thanks to the job they do. Saving mine and your arses day after day. Remember they run to a deranged school shooter not from. As it’s been said, don’t resist and then live to challenge and fight another day.

Thats bull shiite! Democrats were founded as a racist political Party and have benefitted from that for 150 years!

Get outta here with the Trump hatred that those same rascist Democrats have told you to feel. If he wasnt in office right now, he'd still be the same guy all the rappers sang about and all these same Leftists pander to and beg for donations from him just as they have for over 20 years prior to his being President.

Moron.

I think and I believe that innocent black and white people have been killed by law enforcement, and I think there has been times when the innocent were killed bc they intentionally refused to follow the instructions that were commanded by the cops. The courts are where innocent and guilt are determined, and when the cops come for you, your best chances not to be harmed in anyway, is to peacefully go along with them bc the very second you resist arrest, you put your life in grave danger bc you are going with them, in the back seat of the police car, or in a bodybag in the back of an SUV with the Coroner. With me personally, the very moment a cop says that I'm under arrest, I'll crawl under the car if that is their instruction. I'm not going to cause myself to get killed bc I didn't want to go to jail!!!

Didn’t watch for this reason and I knew there would be virus nonsense as well (read that a couple of panelists supported not playing)

I guess I missed nothing. Sad, I used to wait for college game day each Saturday like a kid waiting on Christmas. Just don’t care anymore, everything is political.

and trust that when Whites (that do or have) quit saying the “N” word (and Blacks too)..

that the Blacks (who have & do) will quit saying the “C” or “W” or “H” words towards Whites..

and then we can ALL move on.

Stop dressing like a thug and acting like a thug and you won't be treated like a thug. No matter who you are, criminal or wannabes.

Jim Jones would be proud of all the Kool-Aide drinkers in this country right now.

...and she got killed while she was in her bed peacefully sleeping. But the police can just bust in and kill because someone tries to defend against what was thought as burglars. Oops turns out it was the wrong suspect.

Anthony Hill didn't have any clothes on.....just an unarmed veteran that was mentally ill.

What are black people supposed to wear???

I said nothing about Breonne Taylor, but now that you brought it up, I believe it was travesty since the Police did not do their homework and it should have never happened. Inaccurate info led to a situation where a fellow officer was shot after the home entry and all #### broke loose from there. However, the mistakes of a few police doesn't make all whites racists and if that's what you believe you need to look in the mirror because by thinking that, you are part of the problem.

Social justice hypers, in sports in this case, are way, way too negative ad emotional in condemning a broad swath of America. There is unbelievably good opportunity to live a good life and succeed. Stay clean, get a good education, obey the law and respect authority. Know the statistics that things are not nearly, not nearly as bad as portrayed. Try disagreeing with the misleading narratives and see the venom and scathing criticisms flow toward you. See who has blind rage and who has their facts straight.
