Guys that know are figuring out what we've known since Renfrow was a freshman. The man can play and if you're not careful... well, actually, even if you are, he can make you look silly.

In our last championship game with Alabama, Hunter only caught 2 passes.
The reason, Saban had him double/tight covered all night!
After getting burned by Renfrow for 20 catches and 4 TD’s in previous games.
Leaving Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross with single coverage most of the time, and they had great games!
Moving the chains and getting first downs WAS an important part of our offense.
Hopefully we will get back to sustained drives again with tight ends, slots, and screen passes.
You can’t run 80-100 plays a game with a bunch of 3 and Outs.
Makes you miss Renfrow and his 3 yard receptions that move the chains……

We have a lot of fans that think the main reason for Clemson’s recent success was that we had 2 “generational” QBs. While they were a big part of that success, don’t forget that they both had the advantage of throwing to HR13 during the years they had the most success.

Were a huge part of our offense and part of what's hurting our offense now is not having a slot guy like that.
This could also be contributing to DJ losing confidence. All this stuff works together.

Hunter Renfrow is like money in the bank. He was such a part of our successes while he was there. While he was a Tiger it was "pick your poison" which Nick Saban learned the hard way. I want that again. Hopefully we see it in a few days, and it lasts all season. Get that, and we'll be in the Natty again.
