Man, I just watched DJ's interview and he exudes confidence & seems waaay more relaxed and comfortable than I remember before.
Hearing the way he perked up when talking about his role as a runner on Offense also confirmed to me that he has a much better sense of balance in his game. All positive!

Watched Adam Randall talk and do I ever feel good about our WR room. That young man has a very high level of maturity for a freshman....should raise expectations for the whole group. Hearing about his relationship with his trainer and Amari and listening to him hearken back to what he learned from Inky Johnson...his overall attitude and work ethic are phenomenal.

Payton Page talking bout getting over Covid year effect was enlightening. Video games & Door Dash from McD's got him up near 400lbs!
Said he got humbled and worked his tail off with nutrition & diet to go from 395 to 317. Was funny hearing him talk about the cafeteria. He never got to go left, he always had to take the right turn to the salad bar then out the door so he dint have to watch the other guys eat. Lol, but I know that was hard.

KJ is impressive. Talks about going home to play in Winston-Salem where his dad coached for WF up til he got in high school.
Confidence in Coach Wes. Again, mature and responsible with priorities in the right place. Talked about how much E11a affected the whole team and how they all love & support Bryan in every way, can't wait to see his face at practice today.

Trotter Jr. focused on basic defensive philosophy of Coach Wes, practicing hard, applying it in games.
Talks about the benefit of having an All Pro dad to break down film with and review game performance. Excited about LB group!

Finished up with Barrett Carter. What strikes me in each of these player interviews is the levelheaded approach they all have.
Says they're ready to bring "A" game to WF.
Mad about fumbling the blocked kick and determined to make up for it. He's taking a greater leadership role not just verbally but to lead by example.

Great interviews. These are some GREAT young men. KJ is so mature ... well, they all are. Barrett is a great leader - you can hear it in the interview and see it on the field. And I'm ready for Adam to be our next WRU star.

Just my two cents worth, is there a way to have a microphone setup in order to hear the questions being asked by the media. Its as if they all sound muffled and it gets to the point it's as if charlie brown teacher is asking the players a question.
