That was the line that stuck out to me too. He mentioned the culture and it just made me think that the staff doesn't need to push Clemson like other programs that need to promote themselves. We just need to get them on campus and the rest will speak for itself. Like the EF Hutton reference too.

The Tigers are going to have the biggest bullseye on them this season anybody has had since UCLA basketball in the early 70s. Coming off the greatest team ever Natty, piling on 5 star recruits while crowding out other highly rated recruits, dominating the news cycle nearly every week and forcing the SEC to look under every couch cushion for excuses. This 2019 team better get salty this summer because everybody will bring it in the fall wanting to knock the program down a notch.

That bullseye didn't affect UCLA's winning ways during that period and hopefully our Tigers will follow the same path the Bruins did!

It's not a lie, Dabo actively tries to talk guys out of committing. You want to know why Clemson has the fewest decommits over the past long while, well it's that right there. When they commit to Clemson they know for sure Clemson is where they want to be. It's not like it's a big deal when Dabo tries to get these guys to take their visits. Dabo tells them to go enjoy the recruiting process and thats because Dabo truly believes in what this staff does and the culture they have built. He knows there aren't any other schools like Clemson. Does that strategy come back to bite them sometimes, for sure but in the end it's about finding a Clemson man and a Clemson man always finds his way back home (oh and needs no introduction).
