Dollar pitchers of beer at TTT happy hour (one afternoon my girlfriend and I just had .78 between us and we ordered 78% of a pitcher....and they gave us the whole pitcher. We remained really good friends until she passed away 8 years ago and we laughed about that all the time!)
Corn dogs, fries, and dark beer at Nicks
Chanelo's pizza (still the best)
Roast beef sandwich delivered from the Study Hall (those poor delivery guys had the worst jobs)
and the Bookstore!!

This is only my opinion. Let that soak in.
I own a business and we closed up for 3 months. My landlord wouldn't cut me any slack. Something to do with taxes and whatever. But, in the scheme of things, people forget that businesses usually pay rent to some dude that owns the building.
TTT ain't making no money, they need to shut down.

I realize landlords have expenses but just who in their right mind is going to move in and start a business if they evict the current tenant? Unless you have a ton of money to burn through until we have an effective vaccine, you might as well wait.

TTT's owns the building so they don't pay rent. Not sure about a mortgage but would think that at this point they pay property taxes and that is it. No need to throw a casual accusation that a business is not telling the truth about the reason behind closing when you are uninformed.

Correct, to my knowledge TTT is the only bar downtown that actually owns the building, so no rent. I assume it has long since been paid off as well.
That being said, they still gotta make money but I assume their recent closings hurt a bit less than others.

I probably read Fluxus 's post incorrectly and they meant no ill intent with their comment. I took it personally because I worked there while in school so apologize for the tone of my original reply. However, I am pretty sure that TTT's decision makers want to be open and are working to get everyone tested and cleared so that they can safely resume operation as soon as possible.
