Orange is loaded. I got them by three scores.
The gap may not be that large between Klubnik and Vizzina, not like in years before where you had Lawrence vs. Bryant or Brice or DJU. Shipley is the biggest offensive factor playing on Saturday, and he's on Orange. I'm excited to see what Woods can do, but also want to see CK's offensive unit do well. Noble Johnson might steal the show.

Is he though? You're missing the fact that if Shipley is on the orange team, he's not on the first team offense. He's a good switch-up and is an incredibly well-rounded player (reminds me of Percy Harvin, just not as fast), but it's absurd to say he's a bigger factor than Cade, Antonio, or Mafah, who's a much better running back.

Why would Shipley not be on the white team if that is the “first team” offense?

Three possibilities:
* Mafah has beat out Shipley for #1 RB
* They are tied and moving Shipley to Orange helps even the offensive fire power
* They're trying to confuse us
It's an interesting question that could use an answer.

Until we're told otherwise, it seems like Mafah is the first string running back. Which makes more sense to me, since he's more of an every down back while Shipley can flip to the slot and mix it up.

Maybe we're using a 2-back set and both are equal as RB1. I also agree that Shipley could be used as a slot or flanker.

Mafah may get as many carries and be a primary back, Shipley will be used as a guy who may get 10-15 carreis, but could also get 5-10 receptions. Almost like McCaffrery. It could go either way, the roster still looks like a mixed bag, just majority starters on White Offense and majority starters on Orange Defense. We rotate so much it doesn't even matter.

My favorite thing about that roster is they have pronunciations for a bunch of people's names, and then for Honea Path, South Carolina.

How is it possible that this game is not on the ACC Network? Can we not schedule non-conflicting spring ganes? It’s dumb stuff like this that makes me want to blow up all of the Power 5 conferences and start 2-3 leagues with regulation like English Soccer.

Honestly, I think it should always be that way. The guys need to learn how to play together. In today’s offenses especially, they need to really know each other.
