Yeah I've been reading all the OU news and radio saying they expected BV to bring in Mike Reed. Wonder if Reed turned him down. I'd also heard the OU radio say that BV wanted him as a lateral.

I hope Venables destroys the big 12 and then whoops up on everyone in his path not named Clemson. Should be fun counting down how long it takes til he put Sark out of a job.

For those more familiar than I am, why is this such a good hire? Were those defenses from his resume that good during his time? And, if he is of that caliber, have I missed it or has his name not even been mentioned this week for DC for us?

It’s a good hire due to experience and resume. Brent will run the defense and Roof will be able to implement what BV wants. I’ll say this, I have a lot of GT friends that were glad to see Roof leave.
