Not, those two only gained fat weight, that kid needs some muscle for sure. Just wondering though, is he being over looked, Rivals has nothing about him. He looks to be pretty fast, and he can catch the ball!!!

I like his size and his frame. He has room to put on "good" weight, and his speed is very impressive, based on his film. Granted, at the college level things will be different, but I like his potential.

Wonder if any interest in playing two sports. Might make one heck of a guard. Be dynamite on defense.
Be a nice target for a backshoulder or a back of the endzone fade. Would be awesome in coverage if he beefed up and played linebacker.

Def has the size and tools to be something if he puts in the work over the next few years. Looks to be a jump ball go getter too, catches with his hands is always a plus. Reminds some of Overton.

Folks, ever wonder how App St. is consistently good? Or teams like Marshall! Liberty! Coastal and even Charlotte(last 3 years with NFL players drafted)?
They pick guys like this up and develop them. Yes, you won't make a living doing it. Yes, you need those big star type players to really put a dent in the win column and be a serious contender for conference and higher titles.
But, App in particular seems to always get these guys. This kid and a kid from Rock Hill South Pointe are primary examples why sometimes "the gurus overlook dudes"!
And, it's not the guru's fault mind you. It's nobody's fault. This kid- Levi and Waymond Jenerrette were both thinking they would be basketball stars and didn't start getting into football until late. Jenerrette is a great athlete(basketball, football, track) not just a good one. And, he has that "dawg" that says, "I'm the alpha here and you can't do anything about it"! Seen many of them come through Rock Hill who went on to do big things in college or the NFL and he is as good as any.
Like Levi - the late start and no camp appearances at "FOOTBALL" camps likely really hurt their chances of being ranked. It looks like Levi suffered from a struggling offensive philosophy or conservative play calling. I.E. he didn't get many opportunities to dominate and show what he could do. Side note: I hate prep schools because they take talent from schools - but if you have big time potential and are stuck at a school that is still playing 1925 type offense and you have 2023 WR skills - I say go/transfer!
As much as it pains me to say that! It only hurts you if your skill-set is not being used. Much different if you just "want the ball more for selfish reasons"! In my opinion anyway. App in particular keep talent and it's because the Carolina's are kind of looked over a bit i.m.o in football recruiting. Plus, there are a bunch of schools and between the two Carolina's only about 16 million people.
Anyway, wishing both these kids good luck. I feel for both of them as I was kind of caught up with this same scenario. Found out I loved football super late in high school and didn't get a opportunity. I did get to play college basketball; which was cool. But, not where the heart really was fully by that time.

Maybe he’s a great student and they waived the out of state portion of tuition or he has a scholarship from other sources. Lots of options so why speculate?
