Sometimes, I think that Dabo should be more careful of how strongly he opposes certain rules bc other coaches will use that against Dabo, and they will twist every word that comes from Dabo. Like don't go to Clemson bc Dabo will fight against you transferring without penalty, and he will cause you to lose a year of your eligibility when the facts are under the new transfer rule is, no loss of eligibility and no penalty for a one time transfer!!!

This is one change that should never happen. It would ruin college sports.

I'm all for benefiting the athletes but this would be an utter catastrophe.

The NCAA has completely lost its mind on this one.

This whole new bent of transferring and paying players is out to lunch funded by the big population schools. Hopefully, we can become a Green Bay type team if all this succeeds.

In my dream world, if college sports becomes professional

athletics, Clemson would lead the charge to leave the NCAA and reform an amateur athletics association with a better model for allocating any money generated.

I know most think we would just be relegating to second class citizens, but I don't see it that way. It's not like I consider college football to be a second class citizen to the NFL. It's just a different sport. The big schools can go on to be a professional sports league, with all the big-time money, big-time recruits, big-time coaches and big-time ESPN hype. I'd tune it out completely. As long as there is some avenue to watch the Tigers (and that's pretty easy in 2020), I'm in.

A bit oversimplified, sure, but that is how much I loath this direction that the sport is being taken.
