Unfortunately for Amari, special teams returners are on a very short leash in the league. Returners are almost always cut after multiple fumbles.

I thought this would happen after his performance this past weekend. He has not panned out as a slot receiver and he coughs up the ball too much in special teams. I never thought he caught the ball cleanly at Clemson (lots of bobbles or body catches). It only gets magnified at the next level. Hope he gets picked up by someone that needs an extra receiver with mounting injuries this time of year.

The Jags should pick him up for their practice squad. Maybe he can work his way onto the 53 man roster next season. I’m sure TL16 wouldn’t mind throwing to him again.

Because he's a Clemson guy, a teammate of Trevor, and a good guy. Now, he still has to perform, but those are very good reasons to want him to succeed. If he doesn't, then okay, but I'm sure pulling for him to get the bobbles out of his system.

He (John Heisman) lost credibility with me when he left Clemson for GT. Just Kidding! I do hate that the trophy that bares his name is awarded based on popularity sometimes nowadays, rather than to the most deserving. Too many former winners vote for guys from their alma mater, as opposed to picking the very best player in college football.

Fumbling is bad. As Heisman said….”Gentlemen, it is better to have died a young boy than to fumble this football”.

Amari is good enough to play …….. but not with that jerk of a quarterback they had at Green Bay! Hopefully he will get a chance somewhere else. I like the Jacksonville idea.

I have absolutely no respect for Aaron Rodgers as a person at all, he is very much a jerk and a horrible person. He's great at his job as a QB but I definitely could never root for him.

Obviously his production wasn’t where it needed to be

And I’m sure Amari would be the first person to take full responsibility for that. BUT, the QB he had to play with is an absolute first rate doooosh. At every turn Aaron Rodgers throws any and everyone around him, up to and including the head coach, under the bus; and thinks he’s the only person in the organization that is worth a crap. There has to be a constant black cloud over that locker room which isn’t conducive to anyone achieving their best play. I hope he gets an opportunity somewhere to get a foothold where they’re working with each other not against.

Hope he catches on with another team. Interesting that Ray Ray is playing with the 49ers and he couldn’t hold onto the ball at Clemson. Amari was sure handed at Clemson and can’t hold onto the ball in the NFL.
It’s an incredibly tough career. It also brings to light how far wide receiver U has fallen. At this point our best receiver is a true freshman. With zero NFL prospects until he declares.

Amari’s career is following Ray Ray’s.

Ray Ray also had turnover issues, etc. but has done well as a Jack of all trades.
I hope Amari gets his mind right and refocuses and finds a home. I had thought he would be a great slot. Maybe still can be.

I am sure Amari will be just fine-I did not think he was a good fit for the Packers and it just seemed to get worse.
I am most confident with a new team that brings out the best in him (as he got at Clemson) he will be very successful!!
Maybe Jacksonville-The would be the new Southern Clemson!!
