in a late round back when the NFL draft had 12 rounds. I don't think he made the team though. He was quite an interesting story being a walk-on that earned a scholarship from Foster after he was an intramural star. Talk about a late bloomer. I used to see him playing pickup games at Fike back in the early 80s. Here's an interesting thread from several years back:
