Guessing there will be some unexpected departures. As much as everyone hates to see it, the better you recruit the greater the chance this happens. As Dabo says, nobody gets lifetime contracts, competition happens and some guys will not stick around for their chance. I believe from what I read and hear, Dabo is pretty up front with these players and if the player doesn’t like what he hears they can enter the transfer portal and move on.

I wonder about Leanthony Williams as well, 4 star CB that hasn't played a ton, saw him have some snaps against NCstate though and looked good.
He could be a transfer but maybe he will just bud late like some others.

Why would Amari leave ? He's a starter , and on the surface I'd have doubts about him getting into the first 2 rounds . Dabo says he tries to talk a player out of leaving early if they either haven't yet gotten a degree or they recieve a third round or lower grade form the NFL scouts .

He’s going to be a stud wherever he goes. He’s not an early enrollee or signer, so there’s still a ways to go here.

I getting ready to post the same thing. If he’s a 3 star ??I’d love to have 7-8 more like him. Looks good to me and you can see the growth from his junior year to his senior year. If I was him I’d go ahead an accept the offer before we fill the position!

I didn't think that we offered if a kid was currently committed to another school. I thought that we required them to decommit before giving them an offer.
