So this is JL's 5th NCAAT in 11 years at Miami...

With also an ACC Championship. That should at least be what Brad should do in 12 seasons for Clemson:

It's all about football.

Basketball is just a way to keep the hoopleheads somewhat amused between the bowl game and spring practice.

Help me out here. As a Clemson alum, I have limited tournament experience/knowledge to draw from.

How are these regions determined? They make no geographic sense:

West Region-Greenville, SC
East Region-Ft. Worth, TX
Midwest Region-GVL
East Region (?)-Milwaukee, WI

Several years ago the NCAA went to the pod system for the first weekend. Back in the day all games, for example, in the West regional would be played out West. Now, four teams in the West play in Greenville led by 2 seed Duke.

It's a way to generate fan interest.

Interesting-I appreciate it. I just assumed the regional teams would drive local ticket sales if they played closer to home, but I guess the TV folks like a spicier matchup. Thanks again.
