ESPN has always been down on “little ole Clemson!” But, if Cad had gotten the start after Syracuse, no one would be even remotely interested in FSU. But overall, Clemson is always a better team with billboard material and a chip on their shoulder!

ABSOLUTELY, and like I have and will always ask, who really gives a D A M N what ESECPN has to say about Clemson bc, anything they have to say about Clemson is totally irrelevant bc Clemson don't play sports from the SEC conference, and it's the SEC conference that ESECPN spends the most $$$$ to promote everything SEC from size, speed, height, and strength with an attitude that no other conference is capable of being equal to having the same.
With ESECPN, the SEC is on the level of being Godly in the college sports world period. That leaves anything they have to say about any other conference as totally MOOT in the court of college sports, enough said with one exception, Screwum with their super size male units

We beat them last year, we're going into 2023 with a night and day difference in QB as in way better, we have a NC Offensive Coordinator, what am I missing here. I don't think that I'm missing anything, but I do believe this is just more of the same O ESESCPN hate or bias against our Tigers. They have us losing two or three games every year, even in the seasons we went 15-0, 14-0 for several straight seasons!!! It gets tiring, but whatever ESRCPN SUCKS!!!!

Crazy cause Florida State has proven nothing so far under Norvell. Building your team on transfers each year will always cost them a loss or two at least as they start each season just like it did last year! They have to prove themselves first! Novell and Franklin at Penn State are now the most overpaid head coaches in America!

When you go outside you tell the whole world that you can't recruit or retain great players as a program...it stinks but it is a fact...now you have to reprogram a player and you give away any chance of an established culture...but it may not matter as FSU women's teachers College!

When you cap off a season in which you lost at home to Clemson, but then you win the Cheezits Bowl, it’s only natural that you would be seen as having moved ahead of Clemson.
It’s just pretty dang obvious.

Not totally surprised at this based upon the way the two teams finished the past year. It may be to the Tigers advantage to not be the preseason favorite as it should provide some additional motivation to prove them wrong...

ESPN projections are often very wrong. I remember when two seasons ago they had us as a playoff contender only to see Clemson turn in the worst offensive performances of any major program in recent memory.
Let's just wait for both teams to play football. I have always hated these rankings by opinion. Look at this last season. TCU should have never been in the top four...opinions said they should be yet just about everyone knew that the 2-loss Alabama team(love'em or hate 'em) was a much better team than them.
This system where if you get ranked #1 in pre-season all you have to do is not lose and you'll end up in the play-offs..stinking opinion. It's terrible and will always be terrible.
