DJ Uiagalelei leads breakout QBs tier ranking
CBS Sports ranked the next QB crop by tiers this week and Clemson's paces a group of players ready to break out. The ranking slanted more toward experience, which left DJ Uiagalelei out of the top-tier All-American and Heisman contenders. In that group notably is opener-opponent QB JT Daniels. Some still believe in that Heisman hype of those players being special, but when I hear the Heisman candidate mentioned with a players name, I think that it's comical, it's truly funny. Over the years they've gave so many media idiots the privilege to vote on what was once a prestigious award, name after a prestigious FB head coach, and they have completely lost sight of who John Heisman was, and why such an award bared his name as being Heisman player...
I would be willing to bet that at least 70% of the Heisman voters never think about who John Heisman was, or why the Heiman meant so much to college FB when the Heisman Trophy first came into existence for awarding a single "super player" for his team during the college FB season. The one player on a team that done remarkable things during the season to help his team win games, that his team wouldn't have won without him, that is a true Heisman Trophy player!!!
Tajh Boyd, CJ Spiller, DW4, and TL16 all were that kind of player!!! And those Clemson players didn't come close to winning the Heisman. And, John Heisman was once the HC at Clemson!!!

Coming in second in the voting isn’t close to winning? Watson and Lawrence both came within a couple hundred points, which was considered somewhat close, not a landslide, according to the media. Anyway, losers can’t get much closer than second place.

My bet would be that D.J. has the best stats of any QB in the ACC , Period.
