If your number 8 in power rankings, then it’s number 8 you should be....

This is the accurate headline, what's up TNET?

Agreed. Clemson beat Wake 48-27 in late November

Clemson won 6 straight. These are different ESPN Talking Head rankings, but not very accurate.
With their stingy defense, the Tigers could beat at least half the teams in the top 15, and probably even Michigan. Numbers don't lie.

Even Utah probably deserved a higher ranking.

Dabo Swinney's Tigers finished No. 8 in ESPN's Football

Jan 12, 2022, 12:53 PM [ in reply to Re: TNET: Clemson ranked in top-15 of final ESPN power rankings ]

Dabo Swinney's Tigers finished No. 8 in ESPN's Football Power Index metric (15.8 rating), which led the ACC ahead of Pitt (12), NC State (16) and Wake Forest (22). Georgia went into the postseason at No. 1 there and finished that way (30 rating), ahead of Alabama (25.4), Ohio State (24) and Michigan (20.7).
