Looks like the prophets here we're right. Perhaps these guys, or at least some of them, should have stuck around for another year. Oopsie

I've been seeing a lot of negativity about Trenton Simpson recently. Apparently he really struggled inside last year with his eyes. Obviously we had switch him and Carter, but I don't think any of us knew it was that bad. Freak athlete though.
I saw a tweet where Myles Murphy only won 17% of his true pass rush sets. That would explain his low sack numbers. Will Anderson from Alabama won 33% of his, as a comparison. Elite against the run. Another great athlete as well.
The knocks on Bresee are all injury related. When he's 100%, he's a monster. But he's also not as smooth as others. I can see that. Still, his potential is off the charts.

Well let's not let it fade away from your memory bank that e S E C p n has had a hard on for Clemson ever since Dabo Swinney brought winning at the highest level to the Clemson FB program, a lowly ACC conference school!!!!!

I think all (4) of these guys will be highly effective NFL players by their (2nd) season. Davis needs to find a team that will utilize his catching ability but he could end up being a weapon on the right team. The other (3) guys are sure fire bets to be major contributors on any team. People sleeping on BB is almost comical. Nagging injuries were one thing but this kid lost his younger sister on a national stage. I can't imagine what that feels like but at a minimum it would be extremely hard to focus on football. Wish em all the best!! GO TIGERS!!

I hated that they kept pumping up Bresee early on in this which eventually made his decision easy to leave. Had they told him the truth early on then maybe he'd still be in a Tiger Uni next year. Also, Murphy has good potential but i never understood how he was rated in the top 10.. I see him as a borderline 1st rounder. Simpson is good but needs more weight on his frame for the NFL. Bresee, based on potential is a 2nd rounder but based on history is a 3rd rounder. Could've come back to Clemson, dominated, and been for sure top draft pick after a year of results.

It's a chicken and egg thing, but Bresee was perceived as the top prospect out of high school but he sure has missed a lot of time. I thought another season would improve his draft stock, but I suspect he (and his team) thought another season would give him another year he could get hurt and lower his draft stock.

coming back and playing a full season would be worth millions of dollars. I assume they don't think that is possible. Which is why his draft stock might fall further.
