We can become DBU

Feb 16, 2018, 11:45 AM

We have been getting some talented DB's of late. No better way to become a great DB than to go against the best WR's in the country. If he can cover Higgins and Ross, the NFL will know he can cover anyone.

This kid is a ball hawk and going to be a baller in college if I had to bet on it. I really hope we can put the press on him. I know it's hard taking a DB out of Louisiana with LSU known for 1. Keeping great players in state 2. Know for producing good DB, but I know Dabo have a great shot if they really put all they got to land him. Tbh tho, with all the success we've had at the other positions in recruiting, id love to land a pair of 5 stars at the db spot and another high 4 star just a dominate db class. We have landed 5 star DBs like Mullens and Alexander and have got our fair share good high 4 stars like Mcmichaels in this 18 class. We already have a high 4 star committed to the 19 class so let's get out there and land a few more dominate top at their db positions. This kid included!! Go Tigers!!!

pretty sure his grandfather...

...was Darryl Stingley, that WR who got paralyzed by a vicious hit to the back way back in the day.

Darryl's son is wikipedia'd as "Derek Stingley"...didn't dig deep enough to find confirmation that "Derek Jr" is indeed a direct relation but I'm sure it's out there.

Tough family, if they're still in the football business.

Yeah that was his grandpa. There’s an article on fox sports about them when he got an offer from LSWho

Next year we are going to need several key positions. Hope this kid at least makes a trip to Clemson and experiences game day in the real Death Valley

Wondering if anyone knows if he is related to Darrell Stingley , the Patriots WR who was paralyzed in a vicious hit by the Raiders Jack Tatum ?
Maybe a grandson ?
