I guess it matters for something, but basically, it does not affect the ACC standings either way no matter which team wins/loses. And GT is not even in the ACCT, so they probably do not care one way or the other. Maybe it will soothe some of the fans if their team wins.

I guess it might possibly help CLEMSON make the NIT (big whoop) if they win, so there's that I guess. Another year, another "hope we make the NIT" and "wait til next year".
