Clemson drops in the Coaches Poll
Clemson dropped a spot in the Coaches Poll on Sunday. After a frankly strange 14-8 win over Georgia Tech Saturday, Clemson dropped to No. 7. I agree with them now. #7 is generous currently.
That said I see a scenario of Tigers improving and going up in rankings.
UF is the dark horse. Expect them to beat UGA and get to final 4 - strong possibility

Florida looked decent playing against Bama, and they actually had a chance at beating them, but, they came up just a few points short!!!!

Does Florida State have 17 points in votes? They are 0-3 and lost to Jacksonville State and got demolished by Wake Forest yesterday. Whatever coach or coaches that did that need their voting privileges revoked. Hence, this is why the coaches poll is an absolute joke and sham!!!

All of them are a sham, and a shame. That is why a different group of people put the teams in the playoffs. Both the AP and coaches pole has always been a very bad Joke, just as the BCS system was sham, and about payoffs!!!!!!

Should have dropped out the top 10.
No other team in the current top 10 would struggle with GT.

We are where we are because of the respect we have earned in the past mainly, plus it would make UGA look bad to drop us further.
It’s a long season, hopefully we weather the storm & our talent reaches its potential. If it wasn’t for our defense we would have 2 loses..... our defense is good enough to keep us ranked high for a long time.
Let’s hope our offense develops as it has in the past, remember 2016___

our current ranking says you’re wrong.
We are being given major benefit of the doubt based on prior seasons. No way do we look like the #7 team based on this season thus far.

Pollsters are ranking us highly based somewhat on Bank from

previous seasons, and the rest of the way on the basis that we do in fact have a National Championship caliber defense. But, that will only last so long. If we lose a game now, we will probably see a HUGE drop in the polls, because the Bank will be empty. And, it would be justified to some degree.
