Oh WOW, they really meant to show the 5 star players what happens if they don't commit to a SEC school, didn't they. Everybody is on to y'all at ESECPN with your youth abusing ways angled to try and protect your biggest conference investment!!!
You're not known as ESECPN just bc it sounds cute, you're called that for a reason, the SEC is your biggest investment!!!!

So we're just going to ignore our recruits that moved up in the rankings and declare conspiracy over the ones who moved down? Or are we also ignoring that the top 3 in the 247 team rankings are non-SEC teams, and that 7 of the top 9 are also non-SEC teams?

I'm just wondering what tape they have seen either of our commit or another player to make someone jump 60 something spots and one fall 50 something in the summer of nothing going on. To me it's all a big farce. I trust our coaches evaluations any day of the week. Their jobs actually count on THEM being right.

You are right. Same thing went on last summer with no camps going on. One of the few measurable events that I can think of is the elite 11 for the QBs. Cade won it (I know it’s not the be all-end all) but they still kept him just outside the 5* window though he’s now the #2 QB. I’ve always looked at 247 as a leader, especially their composite, but this smells funny. Oh well, star rankings don’t win championships. Just ask Jawja. I love the tape on these guys and trust CDS and company. Go Tigers!

The reality is, Once they're a Tiger, do we even care about stars?
I prefer to focus on their individual qualities, and how they fit the team & culture.
I think Cade Klubnik is a perfect example. Ty Simpson was the target, but seemed (to me) to be focused on himself. What was best for him? Cade, right off, just wanted to be part of the program. Shows real leadership.
Personally, I think he's a better fit, and will be more successful.
Yes, rankings give us an idea how HS players measure up against each other. It's not an exact science, and we've seen countless examples of that.
